Well I have been MIA AGAIN!Life really is a pain in the butt! I can't even remember most of what's been going on so it will be a pretty hazy catch up.
OK, so family ....we are all OK, dad has had a couple of heart farts but on the whole is OK. Still worried about leaving him for two weeks while we are away but to late now so will phone him daily and hope for the best? We are looking forward to the holiday and my first ever convention but at the same time I have so much to think about my brain is hurting!
I'm sure I have mentioned before that whenever we go on holiday 'things' happen, mostly weather related. We have flown through storms and Ash clouds. Broke multi million pound brand new machines at airports. Once I almost got arrested when I argued with a stupid customs person at Miami airport. We was in New York for hurricane Sandy. So this time the news papers are saying that hurricane Ophelia will hit UK on Monday...oh, happy days!
I just hope the flights are not cancelled and I miss convention?
See my life is such an adventure! *sigh*
So now cats, well not much to say on them either, they are all OK...well Jordan was chased by a fox and will not go out without a human!

and Ike
Have been doing a little research into kittens, I'm thinking I will get another Maine Coon, but I do like the British Blue,
the Tiffanie cat,
Nebelung cat
oh, and the Bengal
As to my dolls and doll room, now I have spent some time in the doll room, swapping out walls and putting fronts onto the buildings, but no pictures yet and I want to do a video when I can get the time!
Feeling like me again...whatever that is? After Sophie coming down with Gastroenteritis on the Monday (28th August) I started to feel ill on Wednesday evening. Within the hour it was full blown (no pun intended ....well maybe a little) As I was being ill upstairs Sophie started back up downstairs (good that I have two toilets) THEN Amy started fortunately only upwards so a bucket was deployed. By then it was heading for 11 o'clock and I thought I needed help so I phoned my parents who only live around the corner. They were both in bed asleep but were with us in minutes, mum walked in and promptly thew up in the downstairs toilet that Sophie who was starting to feel a little better had just vacated! Oh, the joys!!! By 1am I decided a doctor was required as we could not keep anti nausea pills down. In between sick bouts I told the girl on the phone that I needed a doctor for a anti nausea jab. Now if you know me you know I have a MAJOR needle phobia so would not be requesting this lightly. I also informed her that I was one of four sick people requiring help. About an hour later a doctor phone's again through bouts of sickness I explained what I needed while she asked a load of questions. She then informed me she could only treat me as the others had not been listed!!!!! So I phone BACK the 101 mob and explain the details of Sophie, Amy and mum so they can go on the list! I'm telling you answering stupid question so some bod can tick boxes while leaking from both ends is NOT FUN! Stupid questions over the doctor can now be summoned, he arrived about 5:30 with his sidekick (I guess it's not safe for a doctor to wonder the streets at night on his own....sad world) Within 20 minutes I was starting to feel better and mum was well enough to go home.
Thursday and Friday was mostly sleeping just waking to take pills (20 a day) Saturday I was able to get up but still not eating and only just managing half a glass of water. But by the evening I was a little better and mum (now fine) cooked a chicken dinner. I ate a little with hesitance it stayed put so ate a little more, then felt a little under the weather so went back to bed, not getting up again until Sunday lunchtime. Managed Spaghetti on toast.
By Monday I was feeling a little better but still sleeping a lot and popping the odd nausea pill.
Tuesday more rest but feeling a need to do something so spent some time putting in the doors in my hospital diorama.

Wednesday Anibelle to the vets for flea drops in the morning. I felt like a little shopping so went to Harlow Hobbycraft and found some trees in the sale. I already have three so now I have five. All but one I will be re-painting spring, summer, autumn and winter. The 5th I will leave white and sprinkle with white glitter for a Christmas look. Next stop Homesence (part of TK Maxx) found a couple of things for my friends baby (the pink banana). Then on to Homebase which was CLOSED! They have been brought out by an Australian company Bunnings and are being re-furbished! BUMS! I wanted some paving for the garden and spray paint for my trees. Now I will have to find another place that sells what I need or think of another style of paving!

Thursday the girls and I went local shopping Matalan I found a few thing but the queue was out the door so we left them. Next Pets at Home, not much interesting in there so on to Wickes rubbish store I don't know why I bothered never have what I want! So then back home picking up some cakes on the way.... well we needed something to cheer us up! At lunch time I called the cats in. Ike had blood running down his face and was winking at me, sooooo of to the vets AGAIN and yes he had a scratch to his eye! So a pain killer jab and antibiotic eye drops for Ike! *sigh*
Friday I built the Integrity Toys dressing room diorama. I should NEVER be allowed to play with grown up things like a glue gun. Hot glue really hurts! The video made it look so easy, it was but not when you are me! Walls are not straight either f you have not made yours yet I would say when it come to gluing the walls either side of the dressing table make out straight lines and and glue along the lines that way you have less (no) glue mess all straight walls!
With Jordan
Saturday parents came for the day and dad helped me with some diorama stuff. So now I can fix the walls of the shopping mall.
In-between all this I have been watching hurricane Irma on TV, I have friends all over Florida plus, we are due to holiday in Florida in a few weeks. Just hope everyone is safe and the horrid thing buzzes off into the sea. At least that's what Jose is doing (at the moment) but now they are saying ANOTHER storm is brewing so it's not over yet!
Perri just because...
Mum's birthday on Sunday was beautiful and sunny if a little to hot (30) girls played in the pool and in the afternoon mum and I joined them. Dad stayed in the cooler living room watching cycling on TV. I made a cake and cooked duck for dinner. We all had a good family day and not one argument!
Monday was another sunny day so as always the girls spent most of the day in the pool, I have no idea what I did just mooched about which was nice just doing nothing. But then Monday night Sophie started to be sick then it started both ends! The pill game began, while being sick you can't keep pills down.... if you can't keep pills down how do you stop the....leakage? Perseverance lots and lots of perseverance! I ground up the pills in a pestle and mortar eventually it worked and the rumble in the jungle stopped and we all went to bed! Thing was by now it was almost morning and time to get up as the gardener was due at 9:30 and food shopping between 10:00 and 11:00. Sophie was pretty out of it all day and
(she is laying on a towel and a bag by her side... just in case)
Amy wandered the house in a sleepy stupor...as did I. As the day wore on Sophie started to feel a little better but by 7:30 in the evening we had all had enough and went to bed. A few random garden pictures
This is the area we are working on at the moment
We all slept for 14 hours and are feeling much better today. However the weather has turned and it's now poring with rain, still it's nothing compared to Texas!
I have been putting off sorting out the insurance for Godfrey but felt it needed to be done. So I have been paying started out at about £22 a month and ten years later is £44 a month, no small amount you would agree. But Pet Plan come highly recommended and are a apparently reputable company (or so I thought). I have only ever made ONE claim when God was bitten on the foot and it swelled up big time. Naturally it was a weekend so we had to take him to the vet hospital and they kept him in all weekend. Cost £700 mostly paid for by Pet Plan. Anyway I know before God died the vet did some of the tests quoted (quote was £400 to £450) Plus, I had death cover and THAT is the thing that has MAJOR ....upset .....should I say? Apparently even though every year the payments go up the things they pay out for goes down. Once a cat (not sure might cover other animals too) reaches ten they no longer cover death through illness?????? BUT do they tell you? NOPE! Well maybe in the smallest of small print but it's not pointed out or made clear. Tonight I will be going through all of my paperwork and I will see if I can find this little detail. I WILL NEVER EVER TAKE OUT PET INSURANCE AGAIN! For the other cats I have a payment plan with my vet. I pay them £60 a month and when I need the vet it is pretty much paid for. I know that if I need something more than I have paid for it will still be done and sorted out afterwards. I know others who set up a savings plan also a good idea, but I will NEVER have pet insurance even if I do get another 'posh pet'! OK, who am I kidding I have already been looking into getting another Coony kitten. I don't like kittens being on their own so will look out for a moggy companion kitten too. But I will have to wait until after our holiday and my friend has her baby. So maybe a Christmas kitten?

I just missed a real good picture with Ashley and Jordan. Ashley was washing herself and had rested her leg on Jordan's back....Jordan's face was a picture but there was no way he was going to move and risk his mothers wrath!
And finally I think I have a small cot addiction (not as bad as my doll sized toilet obsession
Thursday we buried my boy in the garden, again like Tilly just two weeks ago he had a full house with ten of us there to say goodbye. I'm worried about his 'wife' Ashley as she has been acting so strange since his death. We are giving her extra love but we are not Godfrey she want's her man! It's heartbreaking watching her. I had God for eleven years and he got along with every cat (apart from the white cat down the road, but then none of my cats get on with that white cat) But while he got along with all cats it was not until Ashley arrived that he new true kittie love.
With Ashley and her sons Jordan and Perri
I had this idea that it would be nice to foster a pregnant cat and interesting for the girls (and me) to hopefully witness the miracle of birth. Ashley arrived in February 2014 looking ready to drop any second. If you want to read her story this is the link https://foster-cats.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/hello-and-welcome.html So once she ended up staying she met up with Godfrey, it was looooove at first sight and she would have followed him to the moon and back. Might have helped that he was the first guy cat that wanted HER and not for sex! She loved him deeply and we all called them Mr and Mrs.

So the burial was as expected and the tears were pretty free flowing. Afterwards my friends son was trying to comfort Amy and he told her Godfrey was now a cloud in the sky floating away. A while later my mum called us to all look at a cat shaped cloud in the sky. Thing is she had not been around when Oli was talking to Amy and knew nothing of what he had told her? Just another strange coincidence to go with the other things that have happened since God died?
Bellow some more random photo's of my boy and in case you might be wondering yes, I will be getting another Maine Coon cat but not for a while.
