Today the girls mum and I went to a Christmas Fair for the Red Cross.... WOW The goodies for sale were gorgeous I could have spent a FORTUNE!
It was held at a hotel called Fanhams Hall

I did buy some Christmas gifts and a beautiful ring for me plus a PINK & RED knife, roses match box, gas lighter, roses tissues, shoes note book and a pink universal plug!LOL

The earrings and light pink gas lighter are for mum

watch and Ben 10 books are for Amy and the three note books with pens are teacher gifts!
I didn't notice until I looked at the pictures... I had a very 'pink' day! LOL
By the time we got home it was time for the girls to have a bath while I started on dinner. While they were having there bath I decided to get changed, I know it was only 4 o'clock but as I was not expecting anyone and wanted to relax I decided to put my nightie on! Then I went down to start on dinner.... YEP! you guessed it the door bell rings (well, mine does not have a ring it cook-coos! are you surprised?) anyway went to the door and it was two elderly ladies selling Poppies (been looking for Poppies all week!) Just then Jem shoots out!!! DANG cat! So with two old ladies wetting there pants on my door step I chase the cat up the street in nothing but my knickers and nightie! Oh, and my black furry slippers!!!LOL Anyway I caught her in the end and gave the old girls some money for the Poppies and sent then still giggling on their way!
So that was my day and Still had no doll play time!!

This morning Jem (cat)went back to the vets for yet another post op check. The vet cleaned ears and said she was doing very well! Got to go back again on Friday!
I had the fast today as I was having a scan this afternoon. Dad can to look after the girls while I went to the hospital! Boy, he's like a fart in a colander .... he just won't sit down! I guess it's OK for him to be doing the odd job but he is still meant to be resting! *sigh*
Anyway, the scan was clear! So no gallstones? But I still have the pain and now we are back to square one! I need to find a new GP first though!
I'm starting to get doll withdrawal not had any play time all week!!!! No, idea when I will get time *sigh* I guess it's just one of those weeks!

Last week we got a flat tyre... managed to limp it home and called out the RAC to put the spare on for me (car is a Motability car so no charge for anything) anyway the guy put on the spare temporary tyre and today we went to get a new one put on! As I told you yesterday I had some problems with getting my prescription and in the end the receptionist at my GP surgery said she had got it sorted and I said I would collect it from the surgery this morning! So this morning we went the the surgery... opposite direction to where we were going and................... "Sorry, we don't have it!"
"why?" I ask
"Oh, it's gone to the chemist!" shrug of the shoulders
"Why? I said I would collect it!" I say
"I just gave it to the doctor to sign... no idea what happened to it then!" she replies
I storm out but not before telling them "I have NEVER known such a bunch of incompetent idiots in my life!!!!"
I'm going to changes GP's.... how can I trust my health... my LIFE and my girls to this bunch of total nincompoops!!!!
Anyway on with my day.... dropped car off they said they would phone when it was done. Had a look around a new Hobbycraft store that had just opened so many wonderful goodies! Can't wait for my doll room and then I can start building etc. Had lunch in Starbucks, ordered our drinks and toasties then sat down while they cooked the toasties and the girl said she would bring them over! Dad had cheese and ham in brown bread, I had fruit bread and the girls wanted ham and cheese panini! Well, as the girl was getting them out of the toaster the fire alarm went off and she dropped the panini... guess what they had no more! Anyway the manager can over and said they could have a ham and cheese croissant instead and she would give me my money back....and a voucher for free beverages next time! The kids loved the croissant... RESULT!!!! LOL
After shopping still no phone call to say the car was done but as they said an hour and it was now 4 we went back! Yes, it was done... was they supposed to phone? Oh, sorry!!!
Dad took the girls home and I went to collect my prescription from the chemist, I also collected the wrapping paper that had been left in another shop yesterday so now all is well!
Oh, one more little hiccup Amy was supposed to be with my dad in the supermarket dad thought she was with me! I shrieked AMY!!!! at the top of my voice (And yes, I do have a VERY loud mouth) anyway they found her pretty quick I did not know whether the hug her or kill her!!!!
So that was my day!

Well the count down is getting near to an end! YES!!! Being so near to an end I guess I can soon start looking for the two FR dolls I want... and put my list in with Dawn OSS! LOL It's half term this week so I have the girls at home, the weather forecast was for some nice weather ...but not seen any yet? It was raining yesterday and Godfrey went out in it. He came home rather wet and I said I would need to towel him dry especially his big tail! So when I turned around he had disappeared? As I was doing breakfast I decided to leave him and sort him out after. Well, after breakfast this is where I found him....

making him self at home... in my bed! Dang cat!!!! Today we had to go into town to post a parcel and collect a prescription from the chemist. EASY??? NOTE!!!! It started off well we managed to get a parking space, then we spotted a new card shop and went in for a look around... naturally we brought a few things then it was on to the post office that went OK too! Then I went to collect my prescription from the chemist... they did not have it??? I should explain and this point that I'm with a new GP and this is the first time I have used this system.... If you have a repeat prescription then you can order over the net, It's then sent to one of 4 chemists and the patient collects it! Sounds simple???? Well, yes! But only if the stupid doctor remembers to put you repeat prescription onto repeat prescription!!!! Despite having my phone number and e.mail address did the idiot who collates these things contact me? NO!!!! far to simple, why not let the patient (me) go all the way into town with two special needs kids (so you and I know they are mobile, but the GP surgery don't know them from Adam... all they know is I'm a carer) When I got home I phoned them... very miffed, only to be told I needed to GO IN TO THE SURGERY???? Well, lets just say I pointed out the error of there ways and I will now collect the prescription from the doctors tomorrow before we go out shopping!!!! DANG bureaucracy! I then unpacked the goodies we brought in the card shop only to find the two rolls of wrapping paper I had brought were not in the bag... so I will need to go and get them too!
Oh, and this is what I woke up to this morning....

Godfrey was on the bed but he got up when I did and I only woke up because Jem (the hoody cat) woke me up bashing me with her hoody!!!

Dolly Cold Turkey Day One Hundred and Thirty Two .. 13 Days To Go...

Yahoo.... only 13 more days! I guess this has not been as hard as it could have been as I had pre-ordered quite a lot of stuff before hand! Another advantage is no impulse buying! I'm a great one for seeing it and buying it if I like the look of something... then later I worry about how much it cost!!!!
I've had my story to keep me company (The Priors) and this does take up a lot of my time...
Not that I have posted an Episode this week! As you know my dad was very ill but is now much better, and then I thought I was going to lose my Jemima Puddle Duck cat! On Friday I had to take her back to the vet either for surgery to remove her ears or to be put to sleep if the cancer had spread! Fortunately they did the surgery and she is now at home!

I have to take her back on Wednesday all being well she can have the collar off then?
She does look very odd at the moment but I think when she is better and her fur grows back I think she will look like a British Fold?LOL
I have two Poppy Parker dolls I have kept one as Poppy and the other is now her twin sister Penny

Penny is wearing Mattel satin jeans with a La Boutique YSL Purse, YSL scarf and sandals.

Poppy is also dressed in La Boutique  Pucci Collection

In The Priors Rumi and Iver have now moved into the new apartment.... all VERY odd???? But you will have to wait until Episode 38 for more details!
By the way if you don't want to miss any of my story you can join my web site and then you will always know when a new episode is posted.

Not sure what these two are up to (although I could hazard a guess)

Again I think you will need to wait for an up coming episode to find out more!
Well, that's it for now off to get my little monsters sorted for school in the morning and ready for bed!

Another busy day! Managed to finish Episode Thirty Seven of The Priors. Put two stools together... their fun they have one of those gas things that makes the chair go up and down! LOL
Got a phone call from Amy's school they said she had taken her glasses of and someone had stood on them? They wanted me to bring in another pair but as I was on the way to the hospital I told them I could not! Then when I thought about it I started to get out of my pram and worried Amy was being picked on? I still don't know... the school insists Amy did it but Amy insists she did not??? KIDS! *sigh* Sophie forgot her new boots at school so won't have them for school trip on Monday (it leaves early and school will not be open)!!! KIDS! *sigh*
Then when they got home they messed around and wound NOT get ready to go to the hospital!!!! KIDS! *sigh*
Anyway dad is doing OK and I hope he will be home in the next couple of days? YES!!!!

Rumi And Iver....

Dolly Cold Turkey Day One Hundred And Twenty Two... 23 Days To Go! Plus Dad UPDATE

Such a FUN day! LOL Dad went down for surgery at 8:30 this morning and did not come back until 2:30 this afternoon!By this time mum and I were both tearing our hair out. Turns out that they had an emergency and dad was not in ALL that time. But.... he was in for over THREE hours and the anesthetist came up to check on dad this evening. They said dad's liver, Pancreas etc were all stuck together? Mum said did they mean like **Endometriosis? The nurse thought this quite funny but admitted that yes, it was similar???? As I said before I had Endomitriosis when I was younger and every time I was ill so was my dad! So after all these years of joking about it we might just have been .... well sort of right? On other news Sophie and Amy both had appointments at another hospital for there yearly check up... both are doing VERY well. After there check ups we went shopping (to keep my mind of dad's surgery) and I spent a small fortune! Felt good though! LOL No, doll stuff for some time now... starting to get withdrawal, so glad this is nearly over. **Endometriosis is where cells like the ones found in the womb lining (endometrium) grow on organs outside the womb. These cells go through the same monthly changes as the womb lining itself, sometimes swelling and bleeding into the body cavity.Endometriosis is most common on the ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissues that hold your womb in place. You can also get endometriosis on or around other organs in your pelvis and abdomen (tummy), such as your bladder or bowel. Rarely, endometriosis can occur in the space around your lungs or heart.Endometriosis can cause cysts (endometrioma) to form on the ovaries.

Well, to say the last couple of weeks have been busy is a bit of an understatement!
Last week dad was rushed into hospital with pain in his lower abdomen. He has be diagnosed with Pancreatitis due to gallstones. You might recall I had my gallbladder out last year.... You can never have an illness on your own in my family! LOL To make matters worse I have been unwell too. Yesterday the results of my blood tests came through and it looks like I have Pancreatitis too??? Not sure what the doctors are going to do about ME! But I have put myself on a low fat diet so we will see?
Dad is home today and will be going back to the hospital tonight for surgery tomorrow. I can't wait for the weekend and all this will be over and we can start getting our lives back.
You might recall my best friend has been going through a VERY difficult divorce. Well, I say divorce that was finalized last year and she was given custody of the boys BUT her ex was still allowed to live in the marital home? Bearing in mind he is a violent drunk who has attacked both my friend AND her sons a very strained situation! She went to court on Monday and the judge has FINALLY thrown him out!!!! Well, he has until the 2nd November to clear his stuff then she can change the locks and they can all get on with there lives free from fear!
The other big happening was last Saturday, Amy's seventh birthday. She had a party at Bumpy's in Harlow (one of those children's play centre places) It was a joint party with Ryan a little boy in her class as there birthdays are only two days apart and they both wanted a party at Bumpy's.

As some of you will remember last year I had my Gaul bladder removed along with a bunch of gallstones Well the pain never really went away and over the last couple of weeks has got a lot worse, well turns out I have Pancreatitis now! So I have just got home from the hospital, dad was taken in by ambulance this morning. He gave mum and me a real fright! Turns out..... wait for it...... he has Pancreatitis!!!! Talk about like daughter like father! I told him why can I never be ill on my own? He ALWAYS has to join in! LOL They have kept him in and are doing more tests tomorrow to see if he has gallstones Now, this has happened many times to us in the past most notably when I was 23...... Dad was on a golfing holiday in France so I was home with my mum. In the middle of the night I woke with a really bad pain mum called an ambulance and I was taken into hospital. I had Endometriosis, I was taken in at five in the morning and had surgery at 5:30 that evening.... my dad had no idea about any of this but had woken at five that morning with stomach pain these disappeared at 5:30 that evening? After that EVERY time I had an Endo attack so did my dad? When I was 30 I had a Hysterectomy and he stopped getting the stomach aches? So 114 days and STILL no new stuff!!!! But only 31 days to go! While I did manage to get the garden done (my first goal) I have still not been able to save enough to build my doll room! BUT .... I have decided to go on vacation in May so a far bit of my doll room money has gone on this! I guess you can't have everything and I will just have to wait a little longer for my doll room? The good thing is I now have a holiday to look forward to as well! Anyway with dad not very well who would be able to do the doll room? Best to wait until he is better then we can get on with my room!!! As you can guess I have had little time for story writing and picture taking this last couple of weeks so I hope to get back to that soon!

So now I have been on Cold Turkey for OVER 100 days....it feels like 100 years!
I have seen sooooooooo many things I want lately but after all this time I'm not caving in! Only 38 days to go.
I did buy a couple of items from Ginny that arrived today. I brought a dress, crown and a pair of sun glasses for Sophie for Christmas!

Ginny is so wonderful and added a 'couple' of items for Sophie too!!!!!

I have to say at this point that Sophie and I will be going into negotiation over the Doll Divas mug though! LOL

Dad went in to hospital (day patent) for and minor exploratory last Wednesday and has been very poorly ever since! Our GP thinks it's just a coincidence and he has a bug! At first I was happy to except this but after a week and he is still not getting better? I've told dad that he will have to go back tomorrow if he is no better... so lets hope he feels better tomorrow (although I will get mum to take him as I can't be sitting around in a hospital all day)(wink)
If she need me it's only a ten minute drive!
Actually got around to booking our vacation 18 days in Miami from 18th May.... lets hope we miss the hurricanes!
Anyone know of any good doll shops? Not been for a couple of years and things change so fast! There used to be one in Hallandale but not sure if it's still there?
Re vamping some of my older doll stories at the moment and as I'm almost at the end of this part of The Priors I have some XXX???? stories coming up! Love and Sex naturally but also, murder, and a lot of bad behavior. Plus, some answers to some outstanding questions.... What ones? well you will just have to read the story and see!

So it's neatly 100 days and I have brought nothing for my dolls! That's not to say I have not had any new arrivals!!!! I had ordered quite a few dolls at the beginning of the year so these have been arriving as and when! This last week has seen the arrival of Lukas, Eden, Dania and two Poppy's. Plus, a Christmas present that I can't open yet.... Boogie Beach Aria. The only doll left now is Johnathan Adler Barbie and her gift set! I did also say waaaaaaaay back when that I would try and get the Pop Life Ken when/ if he is ever realized I also allowed myself the POM each month.
BUT
What I did not count on was the HUGE generosity of the people on Doll Divas. This week I received a stunning Ginny dress from MarC

Then today not one but TWO amazingly beautifully stunningly wonderful cot sets for Abhay and Dawn from Amber

I'm over the moon with all my wonderful gifts (can you tell?)
You will be seeing a lot of bedroom scenes in The Priors.... of the nursery kind!Oh, and if your wondering why no Priors this week? Well, I thought when the kids went back to school this week I would have some time for me! WRONG!!!! It has soooooo been one of those weeks. I did get the chance to write my story for my competition
Competition Link
Still plenty of time to enter....Please

Plus,
I did sort out some Barbie's to sell
Link to Dolls for sale Page
But had no time to write or take pictures for The Priors
I have the pictures for Luke's date with Eden (don't you LOOOOVE that girl) but not written the story yet. Then there's a couple of other projects I'm working on ...but that all I'm saying for now.....

AT LAST! Amy went back to school today! *sigh* It was bliss! I took mum and Sophie to the pictures 'Bandslam' it was quite good but the cinema was so VERY, VERY COLD!!!!! We did complain but what do they care? Anyway afterwords we went to the local Chinese for lunch... Delius
Then it was home to collect Amy from Lorianne's.
She had a good day (no idea what she did though)
She was very tiered though so went to bed nice and early! Sophie goes back to school on Monday!
Then I will have to start back decorating!*sigh* such a fun life.
On the doll front when we arrived home there was a note in the door UPS had left... they will be back tomorrow with my SIX dolls! YES!!!!! But then no more until November(well apart from the Johnathan Adler Barbie and furniture sets)
Oh, and I will need to play UPS a ransom (TAX) of £64 about $105
I have also posted a new episode tonight

I have had 'one of THOSE days'
It started at 1:30 this morning when I was awoken by a load of shouting and yelling in the road outside my home! Someone over the road was having an argument and for some reason wanted the WHOLE road to listen!!!!
They then look the argument to the top of the road and then after a while all was quite So I settled down and was just going to sleep when it all started up AGAIN! "He hit me!" She screamed. Well I think if I was him I might have been tempted too...No I don't condone vigilance in any way shape or form BUT.... at what was now past two in the morning I'm not at my best! Anyway a dozen other yobs went after him/ her/ them then some cars pulled up so either mummmy and daddy came to get them or the police turned up? don't know...don't care but it finally went quite and I got back to sleep.
When I woke up this morning I had such a headache!!! Sophie my little darling got me some water and headache pills for me and then while I waited for my head to feel better Sophie and Amy fed the cats and got all the stuff out for breakfast.... wonderful - I thought!
No, Amy had dropped a new 4 pint milk carton on the floor then left the broken carton on the side so by the time I arrived downstairs the kitchen was awash with milk! Took me over an hour to clean it all up!!!! What a day still it can't get any worse?....
Oh, yes it can! Amy fell down the stairs! From top to bottom and put her front teeth through her bottom lip! What a bloody mess! Still she did not do any damaged to the wall and after a drink, tissue, cuddle, phone call to my parents and a yogurt she was OK!
I took some pictures today some for Rumi and Iver UNCUT and all went well with editing them except one? I tried to do this one SIX times but just could not get it right so in the end I gave up!
Also took some Barbie pictures... Godfrey helped!

Oh, and just to round my day off..... Dawn has THE MOST AMAZING HOMME up for auction! I want this guy! I HATE DOLLY COLD TURKEY!!!!!

Well, first my apologies I have been very remiss and not posted for an age! BUT... I have still been good! No dolls or doll related goodies for me! I do have Eden, Daina, Lukas (who can resist that guy) and two Poppy's on there way aaaaaaaand I did order Boogie Beach Aria but that's only because my mum said she would buy her for me for Christmas as I went on about her so much! LOL So once they arrive that will just leave The two Johnathan Adler sets

plus, I want the Pop Life Ken if I can get him?

Then I won't be able to buy or order anything until 1st November!!!!!
Oh, just to stop me from going crazy I can still get the POM each month so I will have a new purse to look forward to!
So what have I been up to?
The girls are still on school vacation Amy goes back on 3rd September and Sophie on the 7th so still got a while yet!!! The weather has been it's normal up and down, sun, rain self so you can never plane anything in advance! We have got the small pool out but had to wait until next door put in a new dividing fence so I can run electric down to the pool for heating etc. Now we will leave getting a bigger pool until next year! Started to cover the end of the garden with wood bark and then I will put in a small decked area for the garden swing!
When the girls go back to school it will be all systems go for saving for my doll room! Fingers crossed nothing gets in the way and I can get it soon!!!!!
In another direction I have been writing a lot for my doll story The Priors... it's keep me from going barking!!!! I have some really 'fun' story lines coming up....You have seen the births but we still have.....deaths, marriages, divorces, kidnap, murder, drugs, accedents....and some other stuff that will boggle your mind! So get reading, join my website so you never miss an episode and you get to read the story first! Oh, and of course you can only view The Priors UNCUT if you join! ( I need to have it 'UNCUT' members only as sometimes I get a bit....'descritive'in my stories)
